Jeremy Mage & the Magi features Daniel Spahni's drums, Cyprien Rochat's guitar, and Mage on analog synthesizers and lead vocals.

Their mantra pop weaves cabaret friendship stories, psychedelic wisdom poetry, and organic polyrhythmic  grooves.

They've released singles throughout 2021. Songs about fatherhood ("Oh Yeah"), mental health ("Here's to the Broken"), diversity ("Endless Watercolors"), climate justice ("Fellow Travelers"), and a plant love affair.

 BIO

Jeremy grew up in New York, and studied with Baba Olatunji, Alan Ginsberg, James Hurt, Fred Frith, Yusef Lateef, Srinivasan in Varanasi, and Pupy Pedroso in Havana.

Mage toured worldwide as a multi instrumentalist with soul jazz artist Lizz Wright, reggae billboard #1 artists the Easy Star All Stars, and Nigerian afro-house queen Wunmi, and he played piano and organ on a Grammy winning album.

After half a million miles of inspiration on the road, love brought him to Switzerland. He was drawn to Biel/Bienne, with it’s cultural openness and blossoming, creative musical scene.

His new trio is the evolved version of the Magi which he crafted in New York City.

Cyprien Rochat’s guitar adds raw vitality and shimmering beauty, and Daniel Spahni’s disciplined yet insane sense of rhythmic energy and impact form a perfect mind meld to take Mage’s vision of hypnotic, catchy, and unpredictable songs to another level.
